The owner/trainer Melinda was great with my 6yo autistic niece; A first time rider. She did so much more than a “pony ride”. The stable and horses are clean and safety was a priority. There are plenty of places to ride at the facility for any level of rider.

Melinda has been an accomplished rider for over 20 plus years. She has been galloping thoroughbreds since she was 6 years old. She has tremendous patience with handicapped people and exemplary teaching skills. Proven by her many championships through her very talented students. In addition her horses have always been at the forefront of training techniques and top veterinary science.

I’ve been riding at this barn for 4 years now and I couldn’t ask for a better trainer. The barn is very clean and neat. The horses are all amazing and can take the rider to the next level. Melinda (owner/trainer) is very kind, friendly, understanding, and knowledgeable. She has a lifetime of experience with horses and different riding styles, like Dressage, English jumping, and Western. This is the barn that you’ll never want to leave.
My 9 year old son attended the AMP Stables summer camp this summer (2019) and we are so happy to have found Melinda and her team! He learned so many valuable skills over the summer, had a blast and discovered his love for horses. Since it was such a wonderful experience, we decided to continue riding lessons during the school year and he looks forward to going every week. Melinda and team are so patient, caring and provide a safe learning environment. Melinda’s horses are all sweet and gentle and AMP caters to both beginner and novice rider. In fact, I have started riding again after 10 plus years and it’s wonderful to have found a great place to take lessons and bond with my son. Over-all, highly recommend AMP Stables.
